PHOTO FACT
Photo of Kateryna Osadcha and Olympic champion Oleksandr Usyk at the Party of Regions campaign headquarters on the election night is all over social networks now. The text under it reads: “What are you doing here? – What do you mean, what I am doing here?” calmly replied the boxer. “I came because I support the government and the Party of Regions. It is important for me!” This photo immediately provoked a strong reaction among the network users who were ready to name the national hero like one little unpleasant rodent. People, perhaps, let’s not be so radical and go from love to hatred. The online publication Ukrainska Pravda, which reported this dialogue between the anchorwoman and the athlete, also wrote: “Later it turned out that the boxer supports the ruling party due to the fact that the President of the Boxing Federation Volodymyr Prodyvus (No. 56 in the party’s election list) is a member of the Party of Regions. Because of that boxer was always correcting himself when speaking about supporting the president, and specified that he meant the president Prodyvus.”
