The primeval joy as art therapy
Anastasia Kraineva’s exhibit is underway in Manufaktura CenterCreative people strive to support all of us in this difficult time by creating the atmosphere of harmony, joy, and tranquility in their canvases.
Artist Anastasia Kraineva belongs to the masters, for whom inspiration is the most important factor of creativity: her pictures are not forced; they are created easily, when she is in the mood, in an absolutely free flight of imagination. Anastasia creates her works with a palette-knife in impasto technique: distinctive texture and bright spots of color, simple combinations of warm and cold tones are typical of her work. Poetic sentiment and emotionality are very brightly conveyed in her open-air pictures Getting lost in a field of chamomiles, At dawn, In my garden, and in the marine painting Blue dream, Juliette’s summer, Let go. Her still lifes show flower bouquets and ornaments on tablecloths and drapery create sentimental, tender, and touchingly beautiful fairytale: genuinely woman’s reality.
The exposition “Kaleidoscope of happiness” invites us to the world of youth, love, and beauty – here the hymn of life sounds so evidently that the audience comes up with a natural desire to get into this amazing world and settle there forever. In the canvases Spring and White Transparent we are welcomed by a garden, a secluded and mysterious place, where the blue shadows and greenness of trees imperceptibly knotting the macrame of peaceful and quiet paradise. The blossoming apple tree, generously strewed with the shining pearls of white petals in the picture I can feel the smell of sweet apple, a deeply lyrical song about the endless midday and pure fathomless sky. Yet summer and spring are interpreted by the artist as an eternally young image of a girl, funny, sparkling-foamy, and totally unpredictable: this tender girl is the eternity framed by motley flower-garden. Youth comes to everyone in the audience in the canvas In the country of blue dragonflies: it is a limitless space of improvisation and freedom, light soup bubbles merge with the tender blue ornament and are scattered by light-hearted wind to the north, south, west, and east. The time has stopped, as it always happens in extremely long moments of happiness.
“Kaleidoscope of dream” turns its different sides to the audience. Someone sees in the canvas of the artist their intimate dream about bright future, and others – only the pinching regret about the irrevocable untroubled-happy days of the past that is long behind. The advantage of art is the self-worth of the world, created by the artist, which is not connected with any concrete time coordinates or place of action. Every canvas is the ability of the author to see in the most ordinary everyday events the sincere and unique joy of the swift-flowing moment, understand this state in your soul, as well as the ability to depict it in a talented way. We always see only what we want to see: and those who will experience catharsis from this fest of life won’t be mistaken, neither will be those who will feel wise life philosophy in the pictures by Kraineva.
The artist gets the impressions from the everyday events, transforms them through her inner vision, and creates a world of her own. At the same time, realistic interpretation is typical of her earliest works, while later works are inclined to decorativeness and ornamental luxury. And every canvas reveals the new side of beauty of life which is so apparent for romantic persons, and, unfortunately, completely hidden from boring prosaic people. Therefore getting to know the artwork of Anastasia Kraineva will for sure help the audience to become optimistic and full of lightest hopes.
