World Bank Seeks Common Priorities

Gregory Jedrzejczak, newly appointed Head of the Word Bank Representative Office started his work in Kyiv.

Mr. Jedrzejczak has been with the World Bank since 1994: first as a Senior Specialist on private sector development issues, and since 1997 in charge of projects on development private sector in Ukraine. He was also in charge of preparing and issuing a number of loans for CIS countries.

He announced that a World Bank mission is scheduled to come to Kyiv early December to discuss the bank’s loan policy under conditions of the economic crisis. “We will not discuss priorities for Ukraine. We will talk about optimal priorities both for Ukraine and the World Bank,” he stressed.
