Nov. 28 1994: The Constitutional Commission meets and the constitutional process is officially resumed in Ukraine.

Nov. 29 1989: Victims of Stalinist repressions are reburied in Ivano- Frankivsk.

2004: The National Salvation Committed presided over by Viktor Yushchenko forwards an ultimatum to President Leonid Kuchma.

Nov. 30 1921: The All-Ukraine Central Executive Committee adopts a resolution on an amnesty for workers and peasants who served in enemy armies and are currently abroad.

2004: German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder discusses the election situation in Ukraine with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

Dec. 1 1991: During the referendum the people of Ukraine confirm the Act of Ukraine’s Independence. Leonid Kuchma is elected president.

2004: The resolution of the Verkhovna Rada retiring the Ukrainian government headed by Viktor Yanukovych and forming a government of people’s confidence takes effect.

Dec. 2 1960: The world’s largest blast furnace “Kryvorizka-Komsomolska” goes into operation at the metallurgical works in Kryvyi Rih.

2004: The European Parliament adopts a resolution urging the nullification of the results of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine.

Dec. 3 1932: A resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR bans the sale of meat and cattle in all districts of Ukraine that refused to fulfil the meat procurement plan.

2004: The Supreme Court of Ukraine annuls the results of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
