The fest, lasting from June 13 through 16, ended with Jamala’s presentation of her new album All or Nothing.

Let us recall that the event’s program consisted of 21 concerts that ran in three locations: Rynok Square, the Potockis’ Palace courtyard, and the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Park of Culture (main stage). The participants included world jazz legends, including double bassists Avishai Cohen and Charlie Haden, guitarist Al Di Meola, and singer Bobby McFerrin. The honorary prize Eddie Rosner Alfa Jazz Fest Awards went to the four-time Grammy winner 76-year-old Charlie Haden for his lifelong contribution to musical culture. He performed for an hour and a half on the festival’s main stage, and then confessed his love for the audience: “I love you all. If I had the chance, I would say it personally to everyone present in the hall.”
